Along the second floor of a storefront building just off of Johnston Road, Bo Innovation arrives along a charming terrace and dining room framed in walls of glass. Inside, a simple, spare design with muted artwork puts the kitchen and its star chef on center stage with his rock star haircut and focused attention that’s one of the best eating experiences we found in Hong Kong. The dining room is divided by a front and rear space, the latter being more private. An eat-at bar is advised for those on subsequent visits that allows the chef to serve you directly, ideal for solo travelers and those looking for more of a bespoke culinary experience.
The Food
A set lunch menu and prix fixe tasting menu for dinner, visitors are treated to a 2-hour food experience most nights that includes courses like black truffle umami, mui choy foie gras, scallop lollipop, and epic langoustine delivered with 3-star Michelin service.

Tables are close together and often occupied in groups of two, meaning that privacy is at a premium.
